Sachin Tendulkar was supposed to do a devotional movie, Vighnaharta Shri Siddhivinayak, in which he was to appear in one scene, performing an aarti.
However, he has now cancelled that plan. Due to a knee injury, he will not be able to devote any time to shoot for the movie, says the film’s director, Yashwant Ingavale. “The movie has already been completed. We have done a special aarti shoot with Kajol and Ajay Devgan,” he says.
When asked who is replacing Sachin, Yashwant replied after some evading, “We plan to replace Sachin with Rajinikanth. The shoot will take place after September 14. Rajinikanth has agreed to be part of the movie and confirmed his dates.”
