IPL 2010 : Mumbai Indians! Duniya Hilla Denge!

A ballistic batsman himself, New Zealand opener Brendon McCullum on Tuesday picked West Indies skipper Chris Gayle, Indian opener Virender Sehwag and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as players capable of scoring a double hundred in limited overs cricket.

"
Gayle, Sehwag, Tendulkar are capable of scoring a double. There are plenty of guys around the world who dominate the attack as well. I'm sure we will see that happen soon," said McCullum, who had blasted an unbeaten 158 for the Kolkata Knightriders in the first edition of the twenty20 Indian Premier League last year.

"
Once someone does score a double hundred in one-day cricket, then we will see many people achieve it. It is something that everyone holds in such high regard that it almost seems unachievable at the moment.

"Wickets are getting better, the boundaries are getting shorter and there are the powerplays as well, which make it a lot more possible. Sachin (163 retired hurt) was with a big chance to get a double hundred the other day,
" said McCullum.

The 27-year-old opener said Twenty20 cricket had changed the mindset of the players.

"
Twenty20 has helped bring in a realistic approach that 200 is achievable. In terms of chasing totals as well. We looked at chasing 180-190 over the last 20 overs in the third ODI at Christchurch."

"It is kind of bizarre when you look at achieving big targets in the 50-over game. But when you bring in the T20 experience in the ODI games it helps chasing big scores."
