Mumbai Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar praised Jean-Paul Duminy and Ajinkya Rahane for the challenging total on Sunday and attributed the victory to team effort.
“Yeah, we needed this victory and all thanks to JP and Ajinkya. I thought they really batted well till the end.
Sanath (Jayasuriya) too did a good job. Our bowlers also bowled well. It was a good all-round performance by the team,” said Tendulkar.
Man-of-the-match Duminy said he felt nice to contribute to the team’s success.
“It’s always nice to get runs and the team winning. I thought it was a decent wicket, may be little bit on the slower side but I always thought 157 was going to be a challenging total,” he said
