“The way Tendulkar has been playing I believe he must play for India in the World Twenty20. He is playing very well in the IPL. There is no reason why he cannot perform for India,” Kapil said during an interactive session at the India International Sports Summit on Wednesday.
Tendulkar, however, has said that he wouldn’t want to play in the World T20 after former greats, including Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil, called for his inclusion. Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly had opted out of the inaugural 2007 World T20 held in South Africa.
