IPL 2010 : Mumbai Indians! Duniya Hilla Denge!

MUMBAI: Despite Pepsi dropping master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador earlier this year, the ace cricketer has managed to keep himself relevant in the endorsement market.

His latest catch being the ABN RBS bank, formerly known as ABN AMRO. ABN RBS has roped in Sachin Tendulkar as its global brand ambassador.

The announcement will be made on Thursday. The move is in tandem with the bank looking at investing largely in cricket to ensure high visibility and impact.

Market estimates suggest that Tendulkar is one of the most expensive cricket brand of his generation, having charged around Rs 4-5 crore per annum for a brand endorsement.

However, the asking rate for Tendulkar, insiders state has dropped a bit, due to various other cricketers emerging and sharing the spotlight.
