Mumbai Indians spearheaded by Sachin Tendulkar have started sales of online tickets for the franchise's home matches for IPL III commencing on March 12.
The seven of the IPL home ties of Mumbai Indians will be held at the Cricket Club of India’s Brabourne Stadium. They will play their opening match against Rajasthan Royals, the winners of inaugural edition of IPL.
A media release said that online booking of tickets for these matches could be done through www.bookmyshow.com and www.mumbaiindians.com.The release further informed that the cricket fans can choose their favourite view seats at the time of booking as for the very first time every seat in the Brabourne Stadium stands (except the Block 15, East Stand) has been mapped online.
Nita Ambani, owner of MI said as T20 comebacks to India, the outfit wanted the fans to get the facility of online booking of tickets.
Nita Ambani said, “With IPL coming back to India this year, we at Mumbai Indians want to bring in the convenience and easy access for our fans to buy tickets for all our home matches online. Watching a match at Brabourne Stadium is an experience in itself, and I am sure our supporters will enjoy the thrill of watching Mumbai Indians.”
