Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar will unveil an oil painting of late Raj Singh Dungarpur, who had been the president of the Cricket Clube of India for more than 10 years on March 24.
''Currently, the portrait is covered and stands in the CCI reception area near the Cooch Behar Hall. We thought it would be fitting that Sachin unveils it and he has agreed to do it. It would also be a tribute to a man who was synonymous with cricket and this club for so many years,'' said CCI president Sevanti Parekh.
Parekh added that the club has a number of other oil paintings and the current one would be in keeping with the ethos of the famous cricketing institution.
